One Person Injured in Big Rig Crash on 580 Freeway in Livermore

Livermore, CA – One person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday evening in Livermore.

According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles collided around 8:07 p.m. on the eastbound Interstate 580, just west of the N. Livermore Avenue off-ramp.

First responders found a semi-truck carrying 22,000 pounds of wood, a Ford Explorer, and a Honda Accord involved in the crash.

One person complained of pain to the neck, back, head, and chest. The patient was offered medical aid by paramedics.

The CHP report did not mention the cause of the crash but an investigation is ongoing.
