San Jose, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision involving a fuel tanker that happened early Sunday morning in San Jose.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 2:48 a.m. on southbound Highway 101, just north of the East Capitol Expressway off-ramp.

A green Toyota sedan and a fuel tanker were involved in the accident. The sedan got stuck underneath the trailer.

AMR responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
