Authorities said two vehicles collided Thursday afternoon, and one of them went off the highway and hit a pole and chain link fence.

One Person Hospitalized After Car Collision near SR-94 and Euclid Avenue in San Diego

San Diego, CA – One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon in San Diego, the California Highway Patrol said.

The collision occurred around 2:18 p.m. on State Route 94 near Euclid Avenue.

Two vehicles were involved in the accident. One of the cars went off the highway, hit a pole, and damaged about 20 feet of chain link fence.

A Good Samaritan helped a female driver of one of the cars get out of the vehicle. She was the solo occupant and sounded disoriented, according to the Good Samaritan.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
