According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place around 1:30 p.m. on 5 Freeway near the Vista Del Lago Road exit in Gorman.

Los Angeles County, CA. – One person was injured in a big rig accident that happened Sunday afternoon on the northbound 5 Freeway near Pyramid Lake in Los Angeles County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place around 1:30 p.m. near the Vista Del Lago Road exit in Gorman.
Authorities said a semi-truck and a sedan were involved in the accident.
CHP officers and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the crash.
The responders found the sedan stuck underneath the big rig, with the driver of the sedan trapped inside.
A heavy wrecker was dispatched to the scene to help extricate the driver.
The victim was freed and then transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
All northbound lanes of the freeway were shut down during the rescue operation.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
