Oceanside, CA – A pedestrian was hit and killed in a crash involving two vehicles on Monday night in Oceanside, according to the Oceanside Police Department.
The incident took place on Mission Avenue west of Ocean Puente at around 9 p.m.
According to the report, a gold Nissan Murano was traveling eastbound on Mission Avenue when it hit a pedestrian crossing the road.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was killed in the accident.
The pedestrian was also ran over by a second vehicle.
Both drivers remained at the scene after the accident.
The crash is under investigation.
