Martinez, CA.– One person was killed in a collision between two vehicles in Martinez on Friday evening, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened at about 6:38 p.m. March 7, on Alhambra Avenue and Elderwood Drive.

The Martinez Police Department and Pleasant Hill Police Department responded to the scene and gave aid to the victims until the Contra Costa Fire District and AMR arrived.
One of the drivers was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other driver had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to John Muir Medical Center.
The accident is under investigation.
