Three vehicles collided Wednesday evening in the westbound lanes of the highway at Sunfair Road.
Joshua Tree, CA – One person was injured in a traffic collision that happened Wednesday evening in Joshua Tree, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported around 6:09 p.m. on westbound State Route 62 at Sunfair Road.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found a Kia Forte, a Jeep Cherokee, and a Chevrolet Express van involved in the crash.
An occupant in the Kia was bleeding and complained of pain to the chest. The patient was transported to Hi-Desert Medical Center for treatment.
Police officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
