El Cajon, CA – One person was injured after a motorcycle collided with a vehicle on westbound Interstate 8 in El Cajon on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 8:37 a.m. on westbound I-8 west of W Main Street.
CHP logs indicate that a motorcycle and a vehicle were involved, with the motorcyclist becoming trapped following the collision. Emergency personnel responded promptly to the scene.
The rider of the motorcycle was transported by AMR ambulance 439 to Sharp Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
The crash was cleared from the roadway after the rider was transported, and all lanes were reopened.
The El Cajon crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
