One Hospitalized after El Cajon Crash on Claydelle and Lexington Avenues
El Cajon, California (March 25, 2023) – One person was transported to a hospital after a crash involving two vehicles on Saturday afternoon in El Cajon, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened in the area of Claydelle and Lexington avenues shortly after 2 p.m.
A pool maintenance truck and a car were involved in the incident.
The driver of the car was transported to Grossmont Hospital following the incident.
Five gallons of pool acid and two gallons of chlorine reportedly spilled in the back of the maintenance truck.
Heartland Fire & Rescue responded to the scene and contained the spill
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
