Clackamas County, OR – One person was killed following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 205 in Clackamas County on Tuesday morning.
The deadly crash happened on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 11:39 a.m. on Interstate 205, near milepost 5.
The Oregon State Police said Nicholas Russell Palmeri, 43, of Wilsonville, was driving a Dodge Dakota northbound on I-205 when, for unknown reasons, the Dodge left the roadway and struck a tree.
Palmeri sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was shut down for about four hours as investigators processed the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
