Nevada County, CA – One person was killed and two others were hurt when a Tesla crashed off Highway 49 in Nevada County on Friday afternoon.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the single-vehicle collision happened shortly before 4:45 p.m. December 19, near the South Yuba River overpass.

CHP officers and the firefighters responded to the scene and helped those involved in the accident. The vehicle was carrying one adult and two children.
One of the vehicle’s occupants died at the scene. The age and gender of the deceased party was not specified. The other two patients were transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center in unknown condition.
Speed and weather conditions were believed to have contributed to the accident, CHP reported. The exact cause of the collision is under investigation.
