Nathan Diaz Killed in San Jacinto Car Crash on Ramona Expressway near San Jacinto Avenue
San Jacinto, California (January 31, 2023) – 37-year-old Nathan Diaz, of Hemet, has been identified by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office as the man killed in an early Monday car crash in San Jacinto.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the wreck happened at around 1:04 a.m. on Ramona Expressway near San Jacinto Avenue.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident. The manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established.
Both drivers were trapped in the vehicles and had to be extricated from the vehicles.

Diaz and the second driver were severely injured and were transported to a regional trauma center.
Sadly, Diaz succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
