Hesperia, CA – Nathan Diaz, 31, of Colton, has been identified by the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office as the motorcyclist who died after colliding with a vehicle on Friday afternoon in Hesperia.
According to a report by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the wreck was reported just after 1 p.m. January 16, in the 8200 block of Caliente Road, north of El Centro Road.
Diaz was reportedly riding a motorcycle when he collided with a sedan, according to a preliminary investigation.
Deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and firefighters arrived at the scene and found Diaz down in the roadway.
Diaz was rushed to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and was cooperative with the authorities.
A GoFundMe page has been launched by Nathan’s family to aid in the funeral and memorial expenses.
