At Least 1 Hospitalized after French Camp Crash on 5 Freeway near Mathews Road Off-Ramp
French Camp, California (November 4, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle collision that took place Friday morning in French Camp, resulting in minor injuries.
The pileup was reported at about 6:41 a.m. on southbound 5 Freeway, just south of the Mathews Road off-ramp.
CHP said seven vehicles, including a white Toyota Camry, a Ford Fusion and a big rig, were involved in the accident under unclear circumstances.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the driver of the Camry to the hospital with minor injuries.
The cause and manner of the accident were not immediately established.
