The crash occurred shortly before 6 a.m. on a stretch of the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway near the 10 Freeway.

Los Angeles, CA. – A motorcycle rider was seriously injured early Tuesday morning after becoming trapped beneath a semi-truck during a collision in Boyle Heights, authorities reported.
The crash occurred shortly before 6 a.m. on a stretch of the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway near the 10 Freeway.
The motorcyclist was pinned under the front of the big rig in the crash.
Firefighters freed the rider from underneath the truck and transported them to a hospital. Their condition was not mentioned.
The freeway was fully closed in the area as emergency crews worked the scene.
Traffic delays followed until lanes were reopened later in the morning.
CHP is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
