Rider Dies in San Bernardino Motorcycle Accident on 15 Freeway near Kenwood Avenue
San Bernardino, California (October 8, 2022) – A motorcyclist died in an early morning traffic collision that happened on a freeway in San Bernardino, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident took place at around 4:21 a.m. on northbound 15 Freeway, just half a mile north of Kenwood Avenue.
According to CHP, the collision involved a motorcycle and at least one car.
A female driver involved in the crash told authorities that she was driving her Nissan Sentra and saw sparks when a motorcycle went down, but she did not make it to stop before hitting the motorcyclist.
The rider sustained major head trauma in the accident. According to the report, the victim died of his injuries. He was only identified as a white male adult. San Bernardino County coroner was requested to respond to the scene following the deadly accident.
No other details were given, but an investigation is ongoing.
