Redding, CA.- A motorcyclist was killed in a collision that took place in Redding on Wednesday morning, according to the Redding Police Department.
The wreck took place on Churn Creek Road, just south of Presidio Street at about 6:55 a.m. February 19.
According to the report, a motorcyclist was traveling north on Churn Creek Road when they drifted across the double-yellow lines and collided with an oncoming box truck.
The motorcyclist was ejected from their motorcycle by the impact of the crash.
The rider, who was not immediately identified, was killed in the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
