Los Angeles, Calif. – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that happened Tuesday evening in Hawthorne, Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident was reported around 6:35 p.m. on the eastbound Interstate 105, just west of Hawthorne Boulevard.
A motorcycle, a white Tesla Model X, and a third vehicle were involved in the collision. The vehicles were blocking traffic lanes after the crash.
The motorcyclist was lying down in traffic lanes.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
The rider was transported to the hospital with major injuries.
It was unclear if there was any other party who was injured.
The crash is under investigation.
