Rider Injured in Fremont Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 880 near Decoto Road Off-Ramp
Fremont, California (July 13, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol said a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash that happened Tuesday on a freeway in Fremont.
A Suzuki motorcycle and a truck collided at around 5:41 p.m. on northbound Interstate 880, just north of the Decoto Road off-ramp.
The rider was lying down in the No. 2 lane after the crash.
Firefighters responded to the scene and helped the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
The Nos. 1, 2, and 3 lanes remained closed as authorities investigated.
