Fallbrook, CA.- A motorcyclist was injured in a crash with a vehicle in Fallbrook on Monday evening, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
At about 5:01 p.m. August 11, authorities received reports of a collision on Interstate 15 near the Mission Road exit.
A motorcyclist was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on I-15 when it slammed into the rear of a vehicle.
The impact of the crash ejected the rider from the motorcycle.
Witnesses rendered aid to the injured rider until medics arrived.
The motorcyclist was transported with unspecified injuries.
According to CHP, a truck was also involved in the incident but no other injuries were reported.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the CHP.
