Goleta, CA – A motorcyclist was hospitalized Monday afternoon following a Highway 101 collision in Goleta.

Responding California Highway Patrol officers found a male motorcyclist awake and talking and crawling on the ground, possibly due to a broken leg.
The rider was taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
Details about the manner of the crash and whether there was another vehicle involved were not available.
CHP officers closed one lane of traffic near the scene as they investigated. The lane was reopened about an hour later.
