Santa Clara, CA. – A motorcyclist died in a traffic collision that took place Thursday evening near an intersection in Santa Clara.
According to the Santa Clara Fire Department, the incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. near Montague Expressway and Mission College Boulevard.
A motorcycle and a car were involved in the crash.
The rider was pronounced dead by the firefighters at the scene.
Investigators with the Santa Clara Police Department closed the northbound Montague Expressway at Mission College Boulevard following the accident.
