Harbor City, CA. – Authorities are searching for two drivers involved in a deadly hit-and-run motorcycle crash that happened Thursday afternoon in Harbor City.
The incident occurred around 12:55 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway near Western Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a motorcyclist was heading east on PCH when a silver van traveling west on the highway made a left turn in front of the rider.
The motorcyclist lost control and was hit by an older-model pickup truck heading west on PCH.
Both drivers did not stop.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene by responding Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics after failed life-saving measures.
