The crash occurred at approximately 4:09 p.m. on October 22 on southbound I-710 near the I-5 junction.
The collision involved a motorcycle and a gray Nissan Altima.
Responding crews found the motorcycle down in the number one lane and was blocking the HOV lane.
Emergency responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department transported the injured motorcycle rider to LAC+USC Medical Center.
Tow services were requested to respond with a flatbed tow truck.
The incident caused lane blockages and emergency response activities on the highway.
