The Chino resident died at the scene of the crash that transpired around 2:10 p.m., May 10, on westbound SR-60 west of Day Street.

Moreno Valley, CA – 24-year-old Cheyenne Phillips died Sunday afternoon after she was ejected from her car in a rollover crash and was struck by another vehicle on State Route 60 in Moreno Valley, the Riverside County Coroner’s Office reported.
The Chino resident died at the scene of the crash that transpired around 2:10 p.m., May 10, on westbound SR-60 west of Day Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Phillips was driving a 2014 Acura MDX at a high rate of speed, passing several vehicles in the center median shoulder. The driver lost control of the car, causing it to overturn several times.
Phillips was ejected in the collision, landing in the eastbound lanes of SR-60, where she was struck by a passing 2024 Tesla Model 3.
Firefighters pronounced Phillips dead at the scene.
An infant who was found in the rear seat of the Acura suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the Tesla was not hurt.
Authorities are investigating to determine the factors that contributed to the crash.
