One person was trapped in the sedan and had to be extricated by firefighters before being taken to Riverside University Medical Center
Moreno Valley, CA. – One person was injured in a collision involving a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department patrol vehicle on Thursday morning.
According to the Cal Fire/ Riverside County Fire Department, the accident happened around 11 a.m. at Cactus Avenue and Nason Street.
A patrol SUV reportedly collided with a Ford Mustang Mach-E in unclear circumstances.
One person was trapped in the sedan and had to be extricated by firefighters before being taken to Riverside University Medical Center.
More details on the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
