Minor Injuries Sustained in Big Rig Accident in Llano

Los Angeles County, Calif. – At least one person sustained minor injuries in a big rig accident that happened Friday evening at an intersection in Llano.

The California Highway Patrol said the collision was reported around 6:28 p.m. at E Avenue T and 165th Street E.

A tractor-trailer ferrying 8000 pounds of an unknown load collided with a sedan at the intersection.

The big rig ended up in a nearby property.

CHP said at least one person sustained minor injuries in the accident.

The tractor acquired moderate front-end damage but the trailer was intact. A heavy-duty tow truck was needed to tow the tractor-trailer back to the roadway for the tractor to be detached and towed away from the scene.

The roadway was shut down for the operation. All lanes were back open by 9:33 p.m.
