Garden Grove, CA. – One person was injured in a traffic accident that happened Monday evening on State Route 22 in Garden Grove, as per a California Highway Patrol log.

The incident took place around 6:10 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the highway just east of Euclid Street.

According to the report, a white Volkswagen Vanagon and a black SUV were involved in the crash.

Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the HOV and No. 1 lane.

One person suffered minor injuries in the collision. Paramedics responded to the scene and offered medical aid to the victim.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
