Bakersfield, CA – At least one person was injured following a two-vehicle collision on Butler Road near Belle Terrace on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 9:04 a.m. on October 28, 2025, along Butler Road near Belle Terrace. Emergency crews responded after reports of a traffic collision involving two vehicles.
Authorities said the incident involved a blue Toyota sedan and a gray GMC Sierra. One of the vehicles struck a guy wire attached to a power pole.
Both vehicles sustained damage and were later cleared from the roadway by tow services.
The female driver of one vehicle was initially pinned inside but was conscious when first responders arrived. According to the CHP, at least one person suffered minor injuries and was evaluated at the scene before being transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles, and the roadway was cleared shortly after 9:30 a.m. No arrests were reported in connection with the collision.
The crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
