Midway City Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Huntington Beach

Huntington Beach, Calif.  – A 47-year-old motorcycle rider was killed after colliding with a vehicle on Gothard Street in Huntington Beach Monday night, according to a police report.

The deadly crash happened at about 9 p.m. on January 8 on Gothard Street north of Center Avenue.

Authorities say the Midway City man was riding a Harley-Davidson northbound on Gothard Street when, for some reason, he lost control and collided with a Honda Civic.

The driver of the Honda, a 66-year-old Huntington Beach woman, was not injured in the crash. Police say drugs and/or alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
