Banning, CA. – 52-year-old Michael Ostermann was killed in a car crash that happened on Monday afternoon in Banning.

According to the Banning Police Department, the accident happened around 4 p.m. at the 5200 block of W. Ramsey Street near Grandview Avenue.

Two vehicles that were involved in the collision and two additional parked vehicles were also damaged.

Ostermann, a Beaumont resident, was ejected from one of the vehicles and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of another vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

The Banning Police Department’s Traffic Bureau is investigating the cause of the accident.
