According to the report, Susan Cobb, 77, of Banning, was driving a Mazda south on Highway 111 when she crashed into a black Ford pickup that was crossing the the highway while traveling on Overture Drive
Palm Springs, CA.- A woman died following a crash that took place in Palm Springs on Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on SR 111 at Overture Drive just before noon on Monday, March 3.
According to the report, Susan Cobb, 77, of Banning, was driving a Mazda south on Highway 111 when she crashed into a black Ford pickup that was crossing the the highway while traveling on Overture Drive.
Cobb was rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, where she was pronounced deceased shortly after.
The Ford’s driver sustained injuries of unknown severity.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
