Michael Cooper ID’d as Bicyclist Killed in Crash on Grant Road in Tucson
Tucson, Arizona (March 27, 2023) – A bicyclist died on Sunday after being struck by a car last week in Tucson.
The bicycle accident happened on Friday, March 24, at around 9 p.m., on Grant Road, according to a report by Tucson police.
65-year-old Michael David Cooper was riding a bicycle eastbound on Grant Road when he was struck by a car driven by a 19-year-old man.
Cooper was transported to the hospital, where he died on Sunday, March 26.
The driver of the involved car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
