According to the police, a Chevrolet Silverado was stopped for a red light facing south on Wilmot Road when the driver entered the intersection against the light

Tucson, AZ.- A motorcyclist died after being involved in a two-vehicle accident in Tucson on Friday night, according to a report by the Tucson Police Department.
The crash was reported at around 8:30 p.m. October 3, on Speedway and Wilmot Road.
According to the police, a Chevrolet Silverado was stopped for a red light facing south on Wilmot Road when the driver entered the intersection against the light.
The Silverado was then hit by a Honda motorcycle that was heading east on Speedway Boulevard and whose driver also failed to stop for a red light at the intersection.
The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
He was identified as Michael Tyler Brown, 22.
The driver of the Silverado was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Speed and failure to stop for a red light are believed to have played a role in the incident, according to the TPD.
The investigation is ongoing.
