
Mesa, AZ. – One person was injured in a rollover accident in Mesa on Thursday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The incident occurred in the eastbound lanes of US 60 near the transition ramp to Loop 101.
Authorities reported that two vehicles collided on the highway and one of them rolled over. The circumstances under which the vehicles collided were not immediately established.
According to AZDPS, one person was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The the eastbound lanes were shut down as authorities worked to clear the scene. As of 9:16 a.m., all lanes were open. The cause of the accident remained under investigation.
