Haffner was driving a Toyota Tacoma eastbound on Aviation Parkway when he experienced a flat tire and pulled over to the side of the roadway

Tucson, AZ.- Mark William Haffner, 64, was killed in an early Saturday morning crash that happened in Tucson, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The incident took place along the Aviation Parkway near Kino Overpass shortly before 3 a.m. August 22.
Haffner was driving a Toyota Tacoma eastbound on Aviation Parkway when he experienced a flat tire and pulled over to the side of the roadway.
An Avalanche also heading east crossed over the white line and crashed into the stopped Tacoma, with Haffner seated inside.
Haffner sadly succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The other driver, Carlos Samiengo Jr., 34, was arrested on charges of second-degree murder as authorities determined that he was driving under the influence.
The incident is under investigation.
