Carlsbad, CA –The pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle at an intersection in Carlsbad has been identified.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner identified the pedestrian as Marilyn Jean Myers, 78, of Carlsbad.
Authorities said Myers was walking along the road when she was struck by a vehicle under unclear circumstances.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional information was provided.
The crash is under investigation.
