San Diego, CA: – A 33-year-old pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street near Balboa Park earlier this month has been identified.
The San Diego Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased as Joseph Robert Held Lyons.
Joseph Lyons was hit and killed on the morning of March 17 on State Route 163 near Interstate 5. Reportedly, Joesph Lyons was walking in the center divide and in the fast lane of state Route 163 when he was hit by a vehicle
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was no information provided regarding the involved vehicle.
