Man Injured in Head-On Collision on Highway 29 near Bella Oaks Lane in Napa
Napa, California (August 21, 2023) – A Vallejo man was hospitalized after being injured in a head-on collision that happened in Napa on Monday morning.
The crash happened on Highway 29 near Bella Oaks Lane at around 6:41 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 62-year-old Vallejo man was driving a Nissan northbound when he collided head-on with a southbound Chevrolet pickup truck driven by a 23-year-old man from Pacheco.
The Vallejo man suffered major injuries and was transported to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center by American Medical Response ambulance.
The truck driver suffered minor cuts while a front-seat passenger broke an ankle.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
