Riverside, Calif. – A 21-year-old male rider was killed in a crash Wednesday night on Magnolia Avenue in Riverside.
The Riverside’s Public Safety Communications Center received multiple calls regarding a collision that occurred at 10:12 p.m. at Magnolia Avenue just east of Tyler Avenue.
The Riverside Police Department responded to the scene and located a motorcycle and a vehicle.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the motorcyclist was west on Magnolia when it collided with a 2007 Toyota pickup driven by a 34-year-old San Bernardino resident.
The biker was transported to the hospital for treatment, where he later died.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
It was not clear if drugs and alcohol were factors in the mishap.
