The juvenile passenger of the motorcycle was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Rady Children's Hospital

El Cajon, CA. – A motorcyclist died and his juvenile passenger was injured in a collision on Sunday evening in El Cajon.
According to the El Cajon Police Department, the accident happened around 4:12 p.m. at 1200 E. Main Street.
A Chevrolet Suburban was traveling eastbound on East Main Street and was turning onto Shady Lane when it struck a motorcycle traveling westbound on East Main Street.
The 41-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The juvenile passenger of the motorcycle was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Rady Children's Hospital.
The 37-year-old woman driving the Chevrolet Suburban remained at the scene.
Authorities determined that the woman was under the influence of a stimulant during the collision and was arrested on suspicion of DUI and booked into Las Colinas Detention Facility.
