The man was injured in the accident and was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center
Stevens County, WA. – A 53-year-old bicyclist was injured after being struck by a car on Tuesday afternoon in Stevens County.
According to Washington State Patrol, the bicycle accident happened on SR-231, near milepost 50, at around 1:30 p.m.
The man was riding a bicycle northbound along the southbound shoulder and was attempting to cross the road when he was hit by a Chevy Malibu was driving northbound on 231.
The man was injured in the accident and was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center in unknown condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
