Madera, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a train in Madera on Tuesday afternoon, according to a report by the Madera Police Department.
At about 2:45 p.m. November 18, authorities received a report of a collision near Gateway Drive and 3rd Street.
A 52-year-old man was hit by a train near the intersection for unknown reasons.
The victim died at the site of the crash.
The man's identity was not immediately disclosed.
The Madera police are working to determine what led up to the crash.
