San Jose, CA. – A man died about a month after he was injured in a traffic collision that happened last month in San Jose, authorities said.
The wreck occurred around 1 p.m. on December 6 in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
According to San Jose police, on that day, the man was driving a 2015 Volkswagen Golf northbound on Lincoln Avenue when he experienced a medical emergency and hit the rear of a 2015 Audi A5 driven by a woman.
The man sustained life-threatening injuries in the accident. Paramedics took the patient to a local hospital, where he was stabilized. He later died from his injuries on January 15.
His name was not released pending family notification.
