Phoenix, AZ. – A 67-year-old man was killed in a in the West Valley on Thursday morning.

At around 6:30 a.m., the Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the scene of a collision on the 10 Freeway near Avondale Boulevard.

The man was riding a motorcycle in the area when he crashed into the rear of a vehicle that was slowing down.

The man was ejected from the motorcycle and was hit by a passing semi-.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.
