Santa Clarita, CA – At least three people, including an elderly woman, were injured following a three-vehicle collision on State Route 14 in Santa Clarita Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash occurred around 5:35 p.m. on October 25, 2025, along the southbound lanes of SR-14 near the Agua Dulce Canyon Road off-ramp.
According to CHP dispatch, the crash involved a white Dodge Charger, a white Jeep Cherokee, and a gray Cadillac.
Investigators said the collision was triggered when a white GMC pulling a yellow sedan on a U-Haul trailer lost its load, causing the vehicles behind it to collide. The overturned Cadillac trapped an elderly woman inside, while two other occupants managed to escape with the help of bystanders.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and extricated the trapped woman before transporting her and other injured individuals to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for treatment. CHP said at least one of the patients sustained major injuries.
Tow services later removed the damaged vehicles from the scene.
Authorities confirmed that all lanes were reopened by 7:03 p.m., though debris was reported to remain along the roadway for some time.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
