At Least 1 Severely Hurt in Sacramento Car Crash on 80 Freeway and Highway 51
Sacramento, California (October 22, 2023) – At least one person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision Saturday night in Sacramento.
According to the authorities, the traffic collision happened at around 10:44 p.m. October 21 on the westbound Interstate 80 just southbound Highway 51 connector.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident. However, the reports did not state the manner in which the incident occurred.
At least one person sustained severe injuries in the accident.
The CHP issued a SigAlert, closing the roadway for several hours as officers investigated the crash.
No additional information about the wreck was provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
