Major Injury Head-On Collision on Interstate 17 in Yavapai County

Yavapai County, Ariz. – A person was seriously injured in a head-on collision on 17 Freeway in Yavapai County Wednesday afternoon.

According to the authorities, the traffic collision happened at around 4:53 p.m. on the northbound on Interstate 17 near milepost 293.

Reports indicated that two vehicles possibly collided head-on after one of the cars drive wrong-way on the freeway for unknown reasons.

One person was severely injured in the accident.

The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.

Additional details about the wreck was not provided.
