One Person Hospitalized after Multi-Car Accident on US 50 near Mather Field Road in Rancho Cordova
Rancho Cordova, CA. – One person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision Thursday morning on Highway 50 in Rancho Cordova.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck happened at around 4:46 a.m. on the westbound State Route 50 just east of Mather Field Road.
Responding crews located three vehicles at the scene. However, the manner in which they collided was not immediately established.
One person suffered severe injuries and was transported to Sutter Hospital for treatment.
More information about the collision was not available.
An investigation is underway.
