1 Person Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Accident on 580 Freeway at San Ramon Road in Hayward
Hayward, CA – One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 580 in Hayward Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred at around 12:48 p.m. on the westbound 580 Freeway just west of San Ramon Road.
Reportedly a big rig and a green SUV were located at the scene. However, it was unclear what caused the incident.
One person sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Eden Hospital for treatment.
More information about the mishap was not available.
